Sonata interesante y divertida es como la crítica la hizo llamar, cuando fue estrenada en Cáceres por el gran clarinetista valenciano Alberto Ferrer y al piano por el propio compositor.

De forma tradicional responde a los tres movimientos típicos de la Sonata:

I.- ENERGICO Y BRILLANTE

II.- EMOCIONAL

III.- ALLEGRETTO GRACIOSO

Con el nombre de sus movimientos viene descrito el carácter de la sonata que la convierte en una pieza muy atractiva y lucidora tanto para el clarinete como para el piano con una gran belleza de expresión en el 2º movimiento, contrastando tanto del 1º enérgico y el 3º gracioso, dejando así un gran sabor en el público.

The movements of the Sonata describe its character, which is shaped into an attractive and bright piece, both for the clarinet and the piano, with a beauty of expression in the 2nd movemente that makes a contrast both with the Enérgico of the 1st movemente with the Gracioso of the 3rd, converying its grat, lingering echo to the audience.

... Para finalizar, Casadó y Prjgvalskaya, abordaron la Sonata para Clarinete y Piano, escrita por el compositor y pianista Ferrer Ferran. Joven promesa de la creación sonora valenciana, la obra revitaliza la forma clásica, incorporando un tratamiento melódico imaginativo, trabajando el lenguaje tonal de manera personal y elaborando un discurso métrico y rítmico atrayente. Sin duda, el movimiento central -Emocional- sacudió las fibras más sensibles del auditorio: Una balada, donde el timbre nítido, homogéneo y cálido de Casadó, fraseó en un legato de admirable calidad.
