El Dúo Parsax está formado por dos
saxofonistas valencianos, Antonio y Vicente Pérez, que tienen una gran
carrera y formación musical. Ellos han obtenido diversos premios y
reconocimientos en todo el territorio internacional, después de haber
perfeccionado sus estudios en París.
Esta obra está dedicada a ellos por
toda su gran labor en pro del saxofón. |

Compuesta durante el año 1995 y editada por
la editorial francesa EDITIONS COMBRES en 1997 e incorporada en la colección
de obras para saxofón dirigida por el gran saxofonista francés Jean Ledieu.
Fue presentada e interpretada por el Dúo Parsax en el "XI Congreso
Internacional de Saxofón" celebrado en Valencia, España en 1997.
Una obra con un efecto sobresaliente en el
primer movimiento, una gran ternura tímbrica y armónica en el segundo y el
tercer movimiento en forma de swing, da un resultado de exhibición para los
saxofonistas produciéndose así, el éxito esperado por los intérpretes.
Siempre que se interpreta la obra transmite una agradable sensación de jubilo al
público.

The Dúo Parsax is made up by two saxophonists
from Valencia (Spain), namely, Antonio Pérez and Vicente Pérez who have a
great career following an excellent musical training. They have won several
awards and acknow ledgements internationally, after having perfected their
skills in Paris.
This work is dedicated to them for all
their efforts made towards the development of saxophone skills and knowledge.

It was composed during the year 1995 and
published by the French published EDITIONS COMBRES in 1997. The work was
later included in the collection of saxophone works directed by the great
French saxophonist Jean Ledieu. It was presented and performed by the Dúo
Parsax at the "XI Saxophone World Congress", held in Valencia, Spain in
1997.
This is a piece which gets an outstanding
effect in the first movement, great tenderness in timber and harmony terms
in the second movement and a third movement in swing style, which gives
chances to the two saxophonists for a good display of their skills, all
resulting in the succes aimed for by the players. The work seems to convey
invariably a jubilation feeling.
