Vilela's territory, small population of the
municipality of Paredes in Portugal, is the age old solution, evidenced not
only by the Roman buildings. "Vilela" has the meaning of "Villa" of small
dimensions.
The Romans settled in the lands of Paredes.
The empire began to weaken, was invaded by the Huns and fell in 476 AD C..
Europe was invaded by various barbarian peoples. For the Iberian Peninsula
came the Swabians and Visigoths, who mingled with the people living there.
Thus passed the years until in 711 the Moors
invaded the Iberian Peninsula Mediterraeno Sea. The Christians took refuge
in Asturias, a mountainous area in the north of the peninsula, where, led by
Pelayo organized the Christian reconquest.
The Castelo de Aguiar de Sousa in the late s.
X, was attacked by the Moro king Almançor. The knights fighting with swords.
The reconquest took centuries, but the Christians finally regained all the
territory.

that time. Describing the entry and Roman rule in the first place and
finishing up work with the Christian apotheosis won them the conquest of
